Important Update on Neighborhood Kids
Hello Neighborhood Church, wanted to share an update in regard to Neighborhood Kids. This coming Sunday, August 15, our grade school rooms will be closing for the next several weeks. We have not been able to secure enough volunteers due to summer schedules. We will be reopening our grade school rooms on September 12, the first Sunday after Labor Day. In the next couple of weeks, Angela Hamlin, our associate pastor who leads Neighborhood Kids, will be reaching out to secure volunteers to serve once a month on a specific weekend.
We understand the complexity of finally being able to travel, see family and friends after quarantining for so long, and committing to serve on a Sunday morning. We value people being able to enjoy their weekends and reconnecting, it’s a sacred practice. This is why we’re taking the time to pause until school is back in session. We would love to have you join us in making a fun, safe environment for kids to thrive in Neighborhood Kids. If you’re interested, contact Angela at ahamlin@neighborhoodchurchmn.
We will have our toddler and infant spaces open with two volunteers there to welcome and play with your kids. As always, kids are welcome to join their parents in the service.
I know this will be an inconvenience to some families, and for that, I apologize. We are committed to having a space where every person can experience a good and beautiful God and life.
If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me.
Thanks, friends.
Kris
